Public Worship Opportunites May 23-24, 2020

6:30PM Saturday (May 23) Evening Outside Worship at St. Paul’s in Plymouth

This Saturday evening service will allow you to practice social distancing outside and even remain in your cars if you would like.  This service might be a good option for those who are at a higher risk of contracting and suffering severely from the virus, or anyone who at this time prefers to worship outside.

Weather looks OK as of right now (this could certainly change…if it is raining at 6:30PM, we will not be able to have service…if it is not raining, we will begin the service and, Lord-willing, be able to finish it…otherwise you’ll be able to watch the rest online at 10AM on Sunday).  With a forecasted southeast wind, I will be standing on the northwest of the church building.  If you would like to remain in your car, please park anywhere you would like west of the church.  If you would like to sit on a lawn chair, feel free to sit in the grass west of church or anywhere on Mrs. Briney’s lawn as well. The entire service will be printed off (or follow along on your device with this PDF).

7:45AM Sunday (May 24) Morning Inside Worship at Christ Lutheran in Beatrice

Masks will not be mandatory, but can certainly be worn.  Households will be asked to sit together and provide space between other households.  Doors will be held open and hand sanitizer will be available.    The entire service will be printed off (or follow along on your device with this PDF) and the offering basket will be placed at the entrance instead of being passed.

10:00AM Sunday (May 24) Morning Inside Worship at St. Paul’s in Plymouth

Masks will not be mandatory, but can certainly be worn.  Households will be asked to sit together and provide space between other households.  Extra seating of 30 chairs will also be set up in the fellowship hall.  There will be a large screen (used on Christmas Eve) also set up in the fellowship hall.  Doors will be held open and hand sanitizer will be available.    The entire service will be printed off (or follow along on your device with this PDF) and the offering basket will be placed at the entrance instead of being passed.

10:00AM Sunday Morning Online Worship (stpaulsplymouth.org and ROKU)

10:00AM Sunday Morning Radio Worship (KWBE 1450AM/94.7FM)

If you do not feel comfortable attending worship outside on Saturday evening or inside on Sunday morning, we understand your concerns and will, of course, continue to serve you during this time online or via the radio.

Our Name explains who we are:

St. Paul’sOur church teaches what St. Paul loudly proclaimed: “We preach Christ crucified” for us and our salvation.

EvangelicalThe evangel, the Gospel, the good news, predominates in our worship and teaching.

Lutheran—Confessional Lutherans believe that God saves by grace through faith, which is created and sustained through Word (the Scriptures, preached and read) and Sacrament (Baptism and Holy Communion).

ChurchWe are a church, an assembly of God’s people gathered around his promises in Word and Sacrament.

We gather for God’s Service at 10 am on Sunday. Holy Communion is celebrated one the second and last weekends of the month. Midweek Vespers Services are held on the six Wednesdays in Lent at 7 pm.

Our Sunday Service is broadcast live over the internet and also on KWBE-1450 AM.

Bible Class and Sunday school for all ages is held September-May at 9:00 am. Various other opportunities for growth in God’s Word are available on a regular basis. Please check the church calendar for more information.
