Our Name explains who we are:
church teaches what
St. Paul loudly proclaimed: “We preach Christ crucified” for us and our salvation.
Evangelical—The evangel, the Gospel, the good news, predominates in our worship and teaching.
Lutheran—Confessional Lutherans believe that God saves by grace through faith, which is created and sustained through Word (the Scriptures, preached and read) and Sacrament (Baptism and Holy Communion).
Church—We are a church, an assembly of God’s people gathered around his promises in Word and Sacrament.
We gather for God’s Service at 10 am on Sunday and 7:30 pm on Monday (No Monday night services during Lent). Holy Communion is celebrated one the second and last weekends of the month. Midweek Vespers Services are held on the six Wednesdays in Lent at 7 pm.
Our Sunday Service is broadcast live over the internet and also on KWBE-1450 AM.
Bible Class and Sunday school for all ages is held September-May at 9:00 am. Various other opportunities for growth in God’s Word are available on a regular basis. Please check the church calendar for more information.
