Public Worship Opportunites
July 4 & July 5, 2020

6:30PM Saturday Evening Outside Worship at St. Paul’s in Plymouth
It looks like another nice evening to worship outside.  If you would like to remain in your car, please park anywhere you would like west of the church where you can hear the two loud speakers. If you would like to sit on a lawn chair, feel free to sit in the grass west of church or anywhere on Mrs. Briney’s lawn. The entire service will be printed off (or follow along on your device with this PDF).

7:45AM Sunday Morning Inside Worship at Christ Lutheran in Beatrice
Masks will not be mandatory, but can certainly be worn.  Households will be asked to sit together and provide space between other households.  Doors will be held open and hand sanitizer will be available.  The entire service will be printed off (or follow along on your device with this PDF) and the offering basket will be placed at the entrance instead of being passed.

10:00AM Sunday Morning Inside Worship at St. Paul’s in Plymouth
We will now have two types of seating sections for Sunday worship.

  1. The back five pews on the entire main level and the balcony – the elders will not be ushering people into these areas and so will not be overseeing social distancing in these areas.
  2. The rest of the pews on the main level and fellowship hall – as with previous Sundays, households will be ushered in and space will be provided between other households.  Masks will not be mandatory, but can certainly be worn.

Doors will be held open and hand sanitizer will be available.  The entire service will be printed off (or follow along on your device with this PDF) and the offering basket will be placed at the entrance instead of being passed.

Lord-willing, we can in this way continue to show love and concern to each other and allow everyone a place in God’s house where they feel comfortable.  Of course, if you do not feel comfortable attending worship outside on Saturday evening or inside on Sunday morning, we understand your concerns and will continue to serve you during this time online or via the radio.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Synod (WELS), a world-wide church body with congregations in 48 states and 23 foreign countries. Through God’s grace and blessing St. Paul’s has been serving the Plymouth area for 130 years with the message of the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Our Name explains who we are:

St. Paul’sOur church teaches what St. Paul loudly proclaimed: “We preach Christ crucified” for us and our salvation.

EvangelicalThe evangel, the Gospel, the good news, predominates in our worship and teaching.

Lutheran—Confessional Lutherans believe that God saves by grace through faith, which is created and sustained through Word (the Scriptures, preached and read) and Sacrament (Baptism and Holy Communion).

ChurchWe are a church, an assembly of God’s people gathered around his promises in Word and Sacrament.

We gather for God’s Service at 10 am on Sunday. Holy Communion is celebrated one the second and last weekends of the month. Midweek Vespers Services are held on the six Wednesdays in Lent at 7 pm.

Our Sunday Service is broadcast live over the internet and also on KWBE-1450 AM.

Bible Class and Sunday school for all ages is held September-May at 9:00 am. Various other opportunities for growth in God’s Word are available on a regular basis. Please check the church calendar for more information.
